The 2024 Harlequins Zonal Secondary School Open Water Swimming Championships is held on 9 March in Auckland and is a great opportunity for students to get involved in open water swimming. Swimming NZ is proud to partner with the popular Banana Boat NZ Ocean Swim Series, as this event is held in conjunction with the Harcourts Cooper & Co Harbour Crossing as part of that series.

There are distances that cater for everyone, with the 1.3km swim for those interested in giving it a go, and the 3.2km crossing for those more experienced or wanting to challenge themselves. It’s also a great preparation for those swimming at the national event in Rotorua the following weekend.

Entries close on Sunday 3 March.
