The Senior 3×3 Northern Regionals is a new BBNZ tournament designed to encourage more schools to have the opportunity to enter a 3×3 tournament and to create a qualification pathway to the 3×3 Secondary Schools Nationals.

The tournament has two grades per gender, Premier Grade & Open Grade. The premier grade is for teams wishing to qualify for the 3×3 Secondary School Nationals & the Open Grade is for Teams wanting a 3×3 tournament experience. Teams may only enter 1 team per gender into either the premier or open grade, but not both.

The Northern 3×3 Regionals is for schools in the middle of the North Island and up – i.e Taupo – Northland.
