NZ Schools Open Water Swim Championships
March 16
The 2024 New Zealand Secondary School Open Water Swimming Championships is held on 16 March in Rotorua and is a great opportunity for students to get involved in open water swimming. Swimming NZ is proud to partner with the popular Banana Boat NZ Ocean Swim Series, as this event is held in conjunction with the Generation Homes Legend of the Lake as part of that series.
There are distances that cater for everyone, with the 1000m swim for those interested in giving it a go, and the 3.5km for those more experienced or wanting to challenge themselves. It’s a great way to represent your school and enjoy the Kiwi summer outdoors.
Entries close on Sunday 10 March.
