The 2024 All Stars Zonal Secondary School Open Water Swimming Championships is held on 28 January from Freyberg Beach (Wellington) and is a great opportunity for students to get involved in open water swimming. Swimming NZ is proud to partner with the popular Banana Boat NZ Ocean Swim Series, as this event is held in conjunction with the Interislander Swim the Lighthouse as part of that series.

There are distances that cater for everyone, with the 1.2km swim for those interested in giving it a go, and the 3.3km distance for those more experienced or wanting to challenge themselves. It’s also a great preparation for those swimming at the national event in Rotorua in March.

Entries close on Sunday 21 January.
